ASSAULT BIKE

Also known as fan bike, these stationary ‘cycles are an excellent way to squeeze in some high-intensity interval training (HIIT) workouts.

Simultaneously assaulting the upper and lower body will burn far more calories than a standard spin bike could, and will do so in far less time. Simply pedal the machine at a brisk pace while extending your arms in an alternating motion.


MED-BALL SLAM

With your feet positioned just wider than shoulder- width apart, hold a medicine ball out in front of you. Raise the ball up over your head so that your arms are almost fully extended. Quickly reverse the motion, and slam the ball down on the descent. Pick it up when it lands, and repeat. A fun way to add some pace to this move is to catch the ball on the bounce.
